About Us

Our Committment

Noah’s Pet Project is committed to providing education to our clients regarding feeding, training, and grooming as well as information regarding resources that may be available to our clients.

We are a non-profit clinic run completely by volunteers. Our budget is completely dependent on donations. Area veterinarians, pet supply stores and individuals are generous in their support.

We purchase only the most basic of supplies, vaccines, antibiotics and flea protection.

History

Noah’s Pet Project began as an part of St. Leo’s Catholic Church’s Outreach Ministry Program in 1998. We are now a Public Charity under IRS Guidelines.

Our clinic is “portable” moving each month into our generously donated space at the Clip n’ Clean Daycare where we have operated for the past several years.

Many of our volunteers, some who started out as clients, have been with us since early days and have stuck with us through the transitions, moves, and streamlining processes.

We are grateful to our supporters, volunteers, and the public who have enabled us to continue to serve the low income and elderly of Pierce County.

Mission

The mission of Noah's Pet Project is to:

  • Provide preventative and/or occasional health care for pets of low income and elderly residents of Tacoma and Pierce County
  • Help control pet overpopulation
  • Provide education to our clients
